How would this work if you’re using an Apple computer? When I download this file and unzip it, it becomes a .rar file. When I put this in the editor data file it does nothing.

It is only one .rar. And inside that .rar you have an .fmf file. You should extract that .fmf file into your editor data folder inside Football Manager 2016 in documents.
    Exact location: Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2016/editor data

You can download the file directly here (.fmf) – https://mega.nz/#!w8cSESBS!Zrd0yjAcB-0iUlH-iMJKk7_Ys1g2K1HBBsWpPyZSEIA

After that start a new career in FM 16 and make sure you have selected “Custom” in Editor Data Files. Click on Ok, and you will be redirected to a page where you can select this database. Tick the small box and don’t forget to click on Confirm button.

Let me know if you managed to do it.

I did not realize what you’re doing..but you must be doing something wrong for sure..I’ll explain again…you just have to extract the file you downloaded to this location -> Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2016/editor data
After that, start your fm 2016 and click on New Career Game -> Football Manager -> it will pop up a small box and make sure you have this option selected (in the line of “Editor Data Files”) -> Custom <- Now, click on Ok and you will be redirected to the "editor data files" screen in which you can select this database. "Tick" the database and click on Confirm.
